A Guide To Our Mattress Protectors
We firmly believe in mattress protectors, particularly ones that are affordable, waterproof, and velvety soft like ours.
They significantly prolong the lifespan of a child's mattress; never underestimate the importance of a quality mattress protector. They safeguard against accidents, stains, and sweat, preventing the formation of hidden bacteria that can compromise a safe sleeping environment.
In essence, our mattress protectors are highly durable, waterproof, and resilient fitted sheets that cover your child’s entire mattress. They are meticulously crafted by our team here in England using 100% organic terry towel cotton fabric with a PU backing, finished with quick-drying elastic edging.
Cleaning is a breeze, as our mattress protectors can be machine washed at 30°C and line dried. This is particularly crucial if your child is transitioning out of nappies.
Our Laundry Care Advice:
- Wash with similar colours.
- Machine wash at 30°C.
- Wash weekly or after every accident/spillage.
- After washing, shake the mattress protector well and line dry.
- Turn inside out to ensure the waterproof layer underneath is dry before placing it back on the mattress.
- Wash before use.
- Washing at 30°C consumes 38% less energy than washing at 40°C. Wash with other whites as cotton easily picks up other colours.
- Do not tumble dry. This will damage the waterproof lining.

We offer a wide range of mattress protectors online, from Moses baskets to cots and cot beds, ensuring a perfect fit for every tiny mattress. However, if you require a mattress size, shape, or brand that is not listed, we provide a simple 'build your own mattress protector' tool where you can enter the dimensions of the mattress along with the make and model of the sleep space at no additional cost. The maximum size we accommodate is 190 x 90cm, which is a standard single bed size. Our skilled craftsmen can create a mattress protector to any required shape, whether round, rectangular, or oval. Our standard dispatch time for a bespoke mattress protector is 7-10 days.
Top tip for parents: Layer two fitted mattress protectors under your child's fitted sheet. This ensures that if your child has any accidents, leaks, or falls ill during the early hours, their mattress remains dry, and you have another mattress protector ready on the mattress underneath the soiled one, minimizing the need to search for another in the dark.
